At Citadel Guns , we stand behind the quality of the firearms we sell. Because we are a specialized dealer of the Citadel brand, our customers benefit from the robust factory warranties provided by the manufacturer and importer, Legacy Sports International .
Manufacturer’s Limited Lifetime Warranty
Most new Citadel firearms, including the Citadel 1911 series, Boss 25 shotguns, and Levtac-92 rifles, are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser. This warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship.
Coverage: This covers the repair or replacement of any part that is found to be defective by the factory technicians.
Original Owner: The warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser only and is not transferable.
Duration: While many components carry a lifetime guarantee, certain items like wood stocks, finishes, and accessories may have more limited coverage (typically 1 year).
What is Not Covered
To maintain the integrity of your warranty, it is important to understand the exclusions. The warranty is generally voided by:
Improper Ammunition: Damage caused by using reloaded, “hot,” or non-standard caliber ammunition.
Unauthorized Alterations: Any modifications, “garage” gunsmithing, or the installation of non-factory parts that affect the function of the firearm.
Neglect: Damage resulting from a failure to perform routine maintenance, cleaning, or proper lubrication.
Normal Wear and Tear: Expected cosmetic wear, such as thinning of the bluing or scratches from field use, is not considered a defect.
How to Request Warranty Service
If you experience a mechanical issue with your firearm, the process is handled directly through the Legacy Sports International service center to ensure that only factory-certified gunsmiths work on your weapon.
Do Not Ship Immediately: You must first contact Legacy Sports to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) Number .

Shipping: You will be responsible for shipping the firearm to the repair facility. If the issue is determined to be a factory defect, it will be repaired and returned to you at no charge.
Include Proof of Purchase: Keep your digital receipt from CitadelGuns.com , as you will need to provide proof of purchase to verify your warranty status.
