Shipping policy

At Citadel Guns , we take great care in packaging and transporting your investment. All orders are processed and shipped from our logistics facility in Reno, Nevada . Because we handle regulated items, our shipping process includes specific steps to ensure federal compliance and safe arrival.

1. Processing Times

Standard Orders: Most non-firearm orders (accessories, optics, apparel) are processed within 1–2 business days.
Firearm Orders: These orders depend on the receipt of a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) from your local dealer. Once the FFL is verified, firearms typically ship within 2–3 business days.
Order Tracking: You will receive an automated email with tracking information as soon as your package is scanned by the carrier (UPS or FedEx).

2. Shipping Firearms (FFL Requirement)

Per federal law, firearms cannot be shipped to your home.

All firearms must be shipped to a licensed gun dealer (FFL).
It is your responsibility to ensure your dealer emails their license to info@citadelguns.com .
Handguns are typically shipped via 2nd Day Air to comply with carrier regulations, while long guns (rifles and shotguns) ship via Ground .

3. Shipping Rates

We offer flat-rate shipping to the lower 48 states to keep your costs predictable:

4. Restrictions and Prohibited Areas

We comply with all state and local laws. We will not ship items to jurisdictions where they are prohibited.

Magazine Restrictions: We will not ship magazines exceeding state-mandated capacities (eg, CA, NY, NJ, MA, CT, IL).
Restricted Firearms: If you order a firearm that is not “state-compliant” (such as certain Boss 25 configurations in restricted states), your order will be canceled and subject to a 15% restocking fee .
International Shipping: We do not ship any items outside of the United States.

5. Delivery and Inspection

FFL Inspection: You must inspect your firearm at the dealer before the transfer is completed. If there is shipping damage, refuse the transfer and contact us immediately.
Signature Required: All firearm shipments require an adult signature at the time of delivery to the FFL.
Shipping Insurance: All firearm shipments include basic insurance. If you wish to purchase additional coverage for high-value orders, please contact us prior to shipping.
