Refund & Return Policy

At Citadel Guns , we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. However, because we deal in regulated firearms and tactical equipment, our return policy is strictly enforced to maintain safety and legal compliance.

1. Firearm Returns (The “No-Transfer” Rule)

The most important rule for firearm purchases is as follows: Once you complete the FFL transfer and take possession of the firearm, it cannot be returned.

Pre-Transfer Inspection: You must thoroughly inspect your firearm at your local dealer before signing the federal 4473 form. If you discover a defect or damage, leave the gun at the shop and contact us immediately at info@citadelguns.com . We will arrange a return and a replacement at no cost to you.
Post-Transfer Issues: Once the firearm is transferred into your name, it is considered “used.” Any mechanical issues or defects discovered after this point must be handled through the Legacy Sports International warranty process .

2. Accessories, Optics, and Non-Firearm Items

For non-serialized items (magazines, sights, apparel, etc.), we offer a 14-day return window under the following conditions:

Items must be in new, unopened, and unused condition in the original factory packaging.
Items that have been mounted, installed, or show signs of wear are not eligible for a refund.
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part.

3. Order Cancellations & Restocking Fees

We process orders rapidly from our Reno, Nevada hub.

Standard Cancellations: If you cancel an order before it has been processed for shipment, we will issue a full refund (minus any non-refundable blockchain or transaction fees).
Restocking Fees: A 15% restocking fee will be applied to any order that is canceled after it has been processed, shipped, or if it is returned because it is not legal in your jurisdiction.
FFL Refusal: If your background check is denied or you fail to pick up your firearm from the dealer, a 15% restocking fee and all original shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

4. Refund Process

Because we accept Zelle and Cryptocurrency , refunds are handled as follows:

Zelle Refunds: Will be sent back to the original bank account used for the purchase.
Cryptocurrency Refunds: Will be issued in the same digital currency used for the purchase based on the USD value at the time of the refund , not the original coin amount.
Timeline: Please allow 3–5 business days for our team to inspect returned items and process your refund.
